Superpowers

The whole purpose of this outfit was the tights.  Since I live in Georgia I had always passed on the fleece lined tights, until the last snow storm that is  (I know, the rest of you are laughing at our two inches, but the city was shut down for three days).  And since snow is predicted for this week,  I scrambled to find a pair.  Of course now it's so warm that I don't even need a coat.  Murphy's Law, right?  Hey, if a pair of tights can prevent a snowstorm then I'll take them.  Maybe I can turn my scarf into a cape and be a superhero.

  1. I watched your city get slammed by that storm - it really was a bad boy! You look fab, and keep wearing the tights to keep the storms away. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday!

    1. Thank you Patti! We're bracing for another storm tonight, and this one is supposed to be much worse. Let's hope the forecasters are wrong.

  3. You look really cute here.. Well, weather has been tricky this winter everywhere. We are experiencing some cold days here in the sandpit Dubai too. Stay warm!

  4. I'm in GA too, another possible storm coming so you're right on time with the tights! The scarf is a nice complement!

  5. Please tell me how you do that. I'm in Arkansas (Ew, I know. Right?) and they have not a clue how to deal with all the very wet snow that makes such icy roads. Our business is rural, and not a soul stirs until the snow melts and the roads are bone dry. The snow didn't happen yesterday or today like predicted, and I know it was the cumulative consciousness screaming for it to stop.
    Yes, I do.
You look effortlessly chic, and adorable in your winter duds. Really, don't put your tights too deep in the lingerie drawer. It's not over just yet, I fear.

    1. Thank you Jan! I'm afraid you are right. I may have to try the tights under jeans or pants in the next couple of days. Stay warm!

  6. This is a cute outfit! And those fleece lined leggings are the only way to survive in Midwestern winter. Glad I found 'em. I moved from Georgia to Indiana last year and so much miss GA. I really do. Just like you, I'm also a new blogger, mom to a toddler and a full-time researcher.
